Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from Helsinki by a 3,5-hour train ride to St. Petersburg – often referred to as Russia’s cultural capital. An English speaking transfer assistant will meet you at the train station and you will be transferred by car to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your own leisure in St. Petersburg, a city of outstanding architectural beauty, famous for its magnificent palaces, cathedrals, fountains and bridges. After breakfast an English speaking local guide will meet you at your hotel for a private 3-hour visit of St. Petersburg. Your tour will include the famous sights, such as the Palace Square, the Winter Palace, the Summer Garden, Nevsky Prospect, The Square of Arts, Saint Isaac’s Cathedral and much more. Breakfast at the hotel. At 10:00 hrs a local guide will meet you at your hotel and take you on a 3-hour visit of the world-famous Hermitage Art Museum. This museum is one of the most famous and largest museums in the world with more than three million works of art and artefacts of the world culture in its collection.
